About us
We are an independent freight forwarder in Oradea, fifteen kilometres from the Hungarian border, moving goods between Romania and the rest of the world since 2018.
How we work
Global Cargo Spedition was set up in 2018 to do one thing properly: organise freight for companies that do not have a logistics department. Most of our clients are manufacturers, distributors and importers who need cargo moved reliably and need to be told the truth about what it will cost and how long it will take.
We are a forwarder, not a haulier. That means we do not own the trucks, the ships or the aircraft, and we regard that as an advantage. It lets us pick the right carrier for each shipment rather than filling our own vehicles, and it means our advice about which mode to use is not shaped by what we happen to have standing idle.
Most of our work is freight from China and across the oceans: containers by sea through Constanța and the Adriatic and North European ports, air cargo through Otopeni, Budapest and Vienna, and block trains on the China to Europe rail corridor. Being in Oradea, fifteen kilometres from Hungary and two days from most of western Europe, puts the road corridor that carries that cargo to its final address right past our door.

What we hold to
Quote the real number
The price we give includes the terminal charges, the customs work and the inland leg. If something genuinely cannot be known in advance, we say so and give you the range rather than leaving it out.
Answer before you have to ask
If a truck is going to be late, you hear it from us first. Problems get smaller when they are shared early and larger when they are hidden until delivery day.
Recommend against ourselves
If a parcel carrier is cheaper, if road beats air, if you should clear customs yourself, we will tell you. We would rather lose one booking than have you find out later that we let you overpay.
Finish what we start
A shipment is not done when it is collected. It is done when it is delivered, the documents are back with you and the customs position is closed.
