Fastest transit
Air freight from China and worldwide
Air is how goods from China reach Romania in under a week, and how urgent cargo crosses any ocean in days rather than weeks. We book capacity on scheduled services out of Otopeni, Budapest and Vienna, and we handle the road legs at both ends.

Air freight is the mode you reach for when time is the constraint. A pallet that would spend eighteen days on a vessel from Shanghai reaches Bucharest in three to five days by air, and an AOG or line-down shipment inside Europe can be moved the same day. The trade off is price per kilogram, which is why the job of a forwarder is to make sure you only pay for air when air is genuinely the cheaper option once downtime is counted.
We work with consolidators and directly with carriers, which gives us access both to low cost deferred products and to next flight out services. For most clients we quote two or three options side by side, with the real cut off times and the real arrival dates, so the decision is made on facts rather than on a single headline rate.
Every air shipment we handle includes the parts that are easy to forget: export clearance in Romania, the security status of the cargo, dangerous goods documentation where it applies, import clearance at destination, and the truck that takes the shipment from the airport to the receiving dock.
What we take care of
- Pickup anywhere in Romania and cross docking to the departure airport
- Export customs clearance and EX1 declarations
- Known consignor and regulated agent security screening
- Air waybill issue and carrier booking
- Dangerous goods classification, packing and declarations
- Cargo insurance arranged on request
- Import clearance, duty and VAT handling at destination
- Final delivery to the receiving address
What we do
Next flight out
For AOG, line-down and medical urgencies we book the first available departure and walk the documentation through so the shipment keeps moving.
Consolidated air cargo
Weekly consolidations to the major hubs bring the rate down considerably on shipments that can absorb two or three extra days.
Charter and part charter
When volume or dimensions exceed what scheduled bellyhold can take, we price a full or part charter against the alternatives.
Dangerous goods
IATA classified shipments prepared with the correct packing instruction, shipper declaration and carrier pre-approval.
Chargeable weight advice
We calculate volumetric against actual weight before you commit, and flag where a repack moves you into a cheaper bracket.
Milestone tracking
Air waybill level status from acceptance through uplift, transit and arrival, reported to you rather than left sitting on a portal.
How it works
- 1
Send the shipment details
Pieces, dimensions, gross weight, commodity, pickup postcode and destination airport or address. That is enough for a firm quote.
- 2
Compare the routings
We come back with the realistic options, usually a direct service and a cheaper one with a transfer, showing cut off and arrival for each.
- 3
Booking and pickup
Once you confirm, we secure the space, arrange collection and prepare the air waybill and export documentation.
- 4
Uplift to delivery
We follow the shipment through each milestone, clear it at destination and deliver to the door.
Frequently asked questions
How is air freight priced?
On chargeable weight, which is the higher of the actual gross weight and the volumetric weight. For air cargo the volumetric ratio is one cubic metre to 167 kg. A light but bulky shipment is therefore billed on its volume, and reducing the packed dimensions often saves more than negotiating the rate.
How far in advance do I need to book?
For a standard consolidation, two to three working days before departure is comfortable. For next flight out we can often accept a booking the same morning, provided the cargo is ready and the paperwork is clean. Dangerous goods need longer, because the carrier has to approve the shipment first.
Can you handle dangerous goods by air?
Yes, for the classes carriers accept. We classify the goods under the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, confirm the packing instruction, prepare the shipper declaration and obtain carrier pre-approval before the cargo moves. Some classes are forbidden by air entirely, and we tell you that before you pay for anything.
Is air freight worth it compared with road inside Europe?
Rarely, for most of Europe. A truck from Oradea reaches Germany in two days and Spain in four, which is close to what air achieves once you add airport handling at both ends. Air wins inside Europe mainly for genuine same day emergencies. Beyond Europe the comparison is with ocean freight, where the gap is weeks rather than hours.

Send the supplier city or port of loading, the volume and weight, and the date the goods are ready. We will come back with a landed cost and a realistic transit time, usually within one working day.
