Privacy policy
What we do with the information you send us through this site, in plain language.
1. What we collect
We collect only what you send us through the contact and quotation forms: your name, company, email address, phone number and whatever you write in the message. We do not build profiles, we do not buy data about you, and we do not sell anything about you to anyone.
2. Why we hold it
To answer your enquiry and, if it becomes a shipment, to carry out the transport contract. Customs and transport records are kept for the periods that Romanian and EU law require, which for customs declarations is ten years.
3. Who sees it
Our own staff, and the carriers, agents and customs authorities that need the information to move and clear your goods. We do not pass your details to anyone else. Where a shipment goes outside the EU, the receiving authorities in that country will see the shipment data, which is unavoidable in international trade.
4. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become shipments are deleted within twelve months. Shipment records are kept for the statutory retention periods. You can ask us to delete anything that is not subject to a legal retention obligation.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted where no legal obligation requires us to keep it, and object to processing. Write to us at the address on the contact page and we will respond within one month.
6. Cookies and analytics
This site sets one cookie, to remember your language choice. For visitor statistics we use Rybbit, which we host ourselves rather than sending anything to a third party platform. It sets no cookies, records no IP addresses and builds no profile of you. What it stores is aggregate: page views, approximate country, referring site and device type. We do not use advertising cookies and there are no social media or advertising trackers on this site.
7. Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date shown at the top. Material changes affecting existing clients will also be notified directly.
