Who we serve

Agriculture and food logistics

Agricultural freight moves in volume, against a harvest calendar, under rules that other sectors never encounter. The documentation is often harder than the transport.

Romania is a major agricultural producer, and the logistics reflect it: high volumes, sharp seasonal peaks around harvest, and a large share of the output leaving the country. Grain, oilseeds, fruit and processed food all move in quantities where a small difference in cost per tonne compounds into a large number.

The regulatory layer is what distinguishes this sector. Food and plant products face phytosanitary controls, veterinary checks, temperature requirements and traceability obligations, and these apply on top of the normal transport and customs rules. Getting a certificate wrong does not delay a shipment, it can cause the entire load to be rejected at the border.

What this sector demands

Harvest season capacity

Vehicle availability planned ahead of the seasonal peak, when everyone in the region needs trucks at the same time.

Phytosanitary certification

Plant health certificates, veterinary documentation and the border inspection posts that must be used.

Temperature control

Reefer and fresh equipment with recorded temperature logs, for products with a specified range to hold.

Traceability and hygiene

Cleaning certificates and previous load records, which food receivers routinely require before unloading.

Frequently asked questions

Do you provide temperature logs?

Yes, on every temperature controlled movement. The recorder data is returned with the delivery documents, which matters because a food receiver will often reject a load that cannot evidence the temperature was held throughout the journey.

What certificates do plant products need?

For non-EU destinations, a phytosanitary certificate issued by the Romanian plant health authority, and the shipment must enter through a designated border inspection post. Requirements vary by product and destination country, so we confirm the specific list before the goods are loaded rather than at the border.

Tell us what you need to move.

Send the supplier city or port of loading, the volume and weight, and the date the goods are ready. We will come back with a landed cost and a realistic transit time, usually within one working day.
