Who we serve
Machinery and equipment logistics
Machines are heavy, awkward, expensive and usually irreplaceable on a short timescale. Moving one is a planning exercise before it is a transport booking.
Industrial machinery presents every difficulty at once. The load is frequently over the standard dimensions, always heavy, often with a high centre of gravity, and its value can exceed the value of the truck carrying it by a wide margin. Add a manufacturer who specifies exactly where it may be lifted, and the shipment becomes a project.
We handle machinery both as ordinary freight, when it fits within standard limits, and as project cargo when it does not. The judgement about which category a machine falls into is worth making early, because permit lead times for abnormal loads run into weeks and cannot be compressed once a delivery date is promised.
What we deliver
- Feasibility assessment from technical drawings
- Abnormal load permits across every jurisdiction on the route
- Low loader, extendable and modular trailer equipment
- Crane and heavy lift coordination at both ends
- Export packing, crating and moisture protection
- Installation site access survey before delivery
What this sector demands
Weight and dimension analysis
Whether the machine travels as normal freight or as an abnormal load, decided from drawings before anything is promised.
Route feasibility
Bridge clearances, weight restrictions and access at the delivery site, checked before the transport is booked.
Lifting and securing
Crane specification and lifting points agreed with the manufacturer, with a securing plan for the whole route.
High value insurance
Cover to the declared value, because standard carrier liability would not come close to replacing an industrial machine.
Frequently asked questions
What do you need to quote a machine move?
Technical drawings with dimensions in all three axes, gross weight, centre of gravity and designated lifting points. Photographs of the machine in place and of the access at both ends help considerably. With those we can tell you within a day whether it is standard freight or a permitted project move.
Can you arrange export packing for machinery?
Yes. Machines travelling by sea in particular need proper crating, moisture protection and corrosion inhibitors, because a container crossing the tropics is a hostile environment. We arrange the packing to the destination and the mode, rather than applying the same treatment to everything.

Tell us what you need to move.
Send the supplier city or port of loading, the volume and weight, and the date the goods are ready. We will come back with a landed cost and a realistic transit time, usually within one working day.
