Who we serve
Retail and consumer goods logistics
Retail runs on timing and cash. Stock that arrives late misses the season, and stock that arrives early ties up capital and pays duty months before it sells.
Consumer goods flows are shaped by two pressures that pull against each other. Buy early and you protect against delay but tie up working capital and pay duty long before the goods sell. Buy late and the freight cost rises while the risk of missing a season becomes real. Most of the value a forwarder adds in retail is in managing that tension rather than in the freight rate.
Two tools matter here. Bonded warehousing lets stock sit in Romania without duty or import VAT falling due until it is released for sale, which turns an early arrival from a cash problem into a safety buffer. And mode selection, sea against rail against air, lets you trade money for time deliberately at the point in the season where it is worth it.

What this sector demands
Duty deferral
Bonded storage so import duty and VAT fall due when the goods are sold, not when the container lands.
Season critical timing
Planning backwards from the on-shelf date, with the realistic transit, not the optimistic one.
Distribution centre delivery
Slot booking, pallet specifications and labelling to each retailer’s own requirements.
Product compliance
Commodity codes, CE marking documentation and the import restrictions that apply to consumer products.
Frequently asked questions
How does bonded storage help my cash flow?
Duty and import VAT are not due while the goods remain under the customs warehouse procedure. If you import a container in January and sell it over six months, you pay as the stock is released rather than all at once on arrival. For seasonal ranges with large upfront buys, that timing difference is significant money.
Can you deliver to retailer distribution centres?
Yes, and each retailer has its own rules on slot booking, pallet height, labelling and documentation. Tell us which chains you supply and we will set the shipments up to their specification, because a rejected delivery at a DC costs a redelivery and often a penalty.
